MY FAVORITE SUBJECT

Welcome to hive reach out initiative week 44 which focuses on my favorite subject. This would really make me go down memory lane to fetch out how I felt during my elementary school. Before I proceed I would like to appreciate the management of this community for their consistency and hard work in ensuring the smooth of especially all the engagements. I really missed in the just concluded week 43 contest which wasn't completely my making but was stressed out because I went for an outreach to a community for almost the whole week. The good thing remains that I am back and glory to God.

When I was in the secondary school, I had difficulty in picking up a particular subject as my favorite because I was almost in love with most of them because of the kind of teachers we had then. They were lovely and could easily make you feel as if there subject was the best amongst others.

For the sake of this contest, I would like to share two subjects that could consider the best. The first I would like to discuss is Chemistry. This doesn't mean because I studied chemistry then automatically is my favorite but the truth remains that I was privileged to have one of the best chemistry teachers in my life time. There are varied reasons why someone chooses a particular subject to the other and most of them depends on the individual.

What informs my choice of chemistry as one of my favorite was first and foremost the nature of my teacher. He had such a lively and loving heart. He treated me as his son because he virtually attends to my needs especially the spirit areas. He is fair in complexion and that matches and increases his handsomeness which was appealing to my eyes to behold always. Once I like your type or nature, it becomes very easy to accept whatever you offer to me.

Another area I considered paramount that made me like the subject was in the aspect of teaching methodology. He was able to deployed the right strategy in teaching owing to the fact that many students run away from science subjects like physics, chemistry etc because of how difficult they are and some teachers don't know how to present it to students. He was able to dissect the subject and break down all areas of confusion.

I noticed my performance improved and was better than any other subjects. I had good foundation in chemistry more than any other science subjects therefore my heart stayed on it. At least I was amongst the best in my set.
Lastly I liked biology even though the teacher knew how to flogged very well. It took me a little time to adapt to his way of life and methods of teaching. My performance was great and I did it with ease.

Today, God has helped me to study chemistry at two different levels of degrees.

Thanks for reading through my entry for this edition.

Funny enough i was a science student then in secondary school but then i didn't like Chemistry at all. In fact, out of physics, chemistry and biology, i would say it is my worst subject lol

I'm a art student so I don't know much about chemistry. I wanted to go for science during my secondary school days but when I heard from some people who are close to me and they are line a family said Chemistry and Physics are hard subjects to know that make me made up my mind that I won't go for science that's why I went for Art department. And I can relate about what you said, no matter how many subjects we are doing in secondary school days there will he one among them that will be our favourite and love so much that we won't even struggle to pass the subject. Nice write, thanks for sharing.
