DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF FORGETFULNESS

The topic for this prompt 35 is quite amazing and speaks volumes of what is happening in today's world. As part and way of life, one can't completely say he's not guilty or victim of forgetfulness. By default every human being created have the tendency to forget something but the big question that remains is what do you do when you forget something?
In this post i would share a story and how one can deal with this Spirit of forgetfulness. I know this is what most people are struggling with.
There is the young man i know very well. Over time we've tried our best to ensure that he does the right time at the right time but all efforts proved abortive. It seems the more we try to make him not to forget the more he tries to forget. It was becoming like a daily lifestyle now. Just imagine telling someone to do a task and at the end he would come and tell hmmm sorry i totally forgot that I'm supposed to do that. Since I noticed that and it has always retard the progress of work all the time, i had to be deliberate.
Forgetfulness can be a lifestyle if one permits it always like this but if proper action is taken then it would yield lots of results. One of the rubbers of destinies is the Spirit of forgetfulness. Deal with it today and gain your maximum breakthrough to a land unlimited opportunities.
I remembered one of the costliest thing i have ever done while in tertiary institution. It almost affected my academic advancement if not that God intervene. There was this exams i was to write and unknown to me i forgot that there was such exams slated by that time. This course happens to be one of the major courses i could easily get my distinction to cushion effects of other courses. I forgot the time with variance of two to three hours. When I came to the exams hall, i saw empty desks and in was wondering what would have happened to my course mates that couldn't come out to the hall on time for the exams? After some minutes i saw one of the lecturers, i approached him and he told me that exams was conducted since in the morning. Kash!!! My body system started fidgeting and i lack what to do at the moment. Later i went to the course lecturer, he lamented over my plight of things.
There are more other indices of things that happened i would not be able to share everything here.
How to overcome forgetfulness
- The first item I would like to point out is always try to write down schedule everyday. This might sound difficult but i dare you would enjoy it later. This has really worked for me on different occasions. I write down all the things I want to achieve at a particular time so that i don't skip any.
- Be intentional and deliberate. Don't allow yourself to be distracted. Always focus on the course of what you want to achieve.
- You can engage the weapon of payers. Don't neglect this.

This is such a relatable post! Forgetting things can be really frustrating, and I’ve had my fair share of moments like that too. I love the idea of writing things down it’s a simple but powerful habit. Staying focused and intentional really makes a difference. Thanks for sharing these great tips!
