ACTS OF HUMANITARIAN SERVICES

I was wondering how and where to begin this write up but I had to start somewhere.

For the second edition of engagement on this platform, it's something special that I wouldn't want to take for granted because it depicts what I love doing and will never cease in doing it. I want to sincerely appreciate the management for a deep reflection to bring forth an interesting and timely theme. For all entries, kudos to all of us for making this a reality week in and out.

If you check through my profile on hive, you would notice that one of the things I believed so much in is the humanitarian services. Charity is like part and parcel of my lifestyle. What do we have that God has not given to us? Is there anything on earth that man will withhold that the Lord hasn't provided? We are just vessels and instruments that God would use to achieve whatever he wants on the earth realm. Life is all about being sacrificial and put a touch on human life for an indelible record. In the course of my journey in life, I had the privilege to meet varied people with different threads despite some negative displays that don't negate the fact that there are several others out there that never sleep until smiles are overwhelmed by the people.

I could remember my days during the youth compulsory service where I had the privilege to serve in the north east of Nigeria. Initially I never knew that the service year would expose me to a higher call that would grant me a good premise for the fulfillment of my vision and dreams. I remain eternally grateful for the privilege to fulfill my heart desires for humanity. I was able to be committed to visiting prisons, and other deathly centers.

I became the secretary of my CDS ( Community Development Service) of Drug free where I was involved in sensitizing people on the danger of taking unprescribed drugs and to counsel the younger ones for effective service. With this kind of activity, it got me engrossed into doing more for my community. I must not have all the gold before I begin to affect humanity. I started with the little token I had boom people started supporting with whatever they had and all resources were properly used.

Immediately after my NYSC, the passion became stronger and after many years I got boarded on the hive block chain. I joined various communities all in an effort to change the narrative of human endeavors to a positive and productive one. I have been able to reach out to communities and have less privilege with lots of resources. People normally donate as the Lord provides for them. I created a separate account which helps me to be accountable and responsible for any amount that enters. I ensured that the amount is used judiciously for the reason of what it was meant to be.

I reach out to people by self in conjunction with my team members. There are many that used humanitarian services as a medium to syphon and extort more resources from people which is very bad. There are other organizations too that I used to support them with what I have. Donating to them is not a challenge because they have been committed to their vision.
