Morning Heals: Rest or Face Health Risk

Economic Hardship and Rest
It's true that the economy of many nations has led many to worry and anxiety, making many to neglect the power that is hidden in resting for up to six or seven hours at is required for every human to sleep per day. In the UK, US and many other countries where tax payment is high and needs constant working to meet up with the daily bills, one can ignore resting as a requirement for getting the bills met. I know a friend who said he could work for 18 hours per day and sleep for 4 to 5 hours in order to earn enough money to foot his family bills. It's an amazing idea that should hard work, although, only time will tell if he can sustain that without breakdown.

Rest and Poor Output
Lack of rest/sleep or inadequate sleep definitely will lead to poor output. Irrespective of the individuals hardworking skills it'll surely be exposed. Nature has a way of humbling humans. God made sleep to help heal our bodies and without it for days puts one under risk of health challenges.

Some time ago, a friend of mine was feeling very sick and felt it was time to do proper check up to know what was really wrong with himself. After several diagnosis, the doctor found nothing in particular what was wrong with him, although,he was constantly depreciating and looking weak. The doctor then asked him how many hours he sleeps in a day and he said, he cannot recall the last time he slept for long at night. Immediately, the doctor recommended bed rest for at least two weeks for him.

Conclusion
Rest is indeed essential for our output, and the morning guarantees the healing of our bodies. Nature has blessed us with the night to rest and the day for work. Toil during the day and sleep at night to regain what the body has lost. Don't ignore the signs of resting. It's nature's way of reminding you that you health is at risk. I remember one preacher talking about the balance between work and rest. All rest with no work leads to poverty, while all work with no rest will make one restless and exhausted. It is obvious that health is at stake if one continues the latter practice.
