The Christmas was not a happy one for Alex.
Though,he saw a gift close to the fireplace at home.
But was later taken to the hospital by her Aunt to see her parents,who got into an accident on their way home.

This is my entry to Zapfic 240 characters or less Monday story with the prompt fireplace.
