(Writing Contest) Finish the tale #10.... The glowing letter.

As the clock struck midnight, the letter in my hands began to glow with a soft blue light. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I stared at the familiar handwriting, now illuminated with worldly radiance. The words, penned by a loved one long gone, seemed to move with a life of its own.

I found the letter in one of my mother's old boxes and it has been there for years without being touched. The name on the letter was mine but the letter was not opened.

The letter was old and worn, its pages yellowed with age. As the glow intensified, the words became clearer as if it was written yesterday. I felt overwhelmed and the room began to fade away.

As I read the words, memories flooded my mind and tears streamed down my face as I relieved the moments I thought were lost forever. The glow became brighter and I felt a presence around me, as if the one who wrote the letter was with me once more.

In that moment, time stood still. The past and the present merged, and I felt a deep connection to the one who had been gone for a long time.

The glow slowly faded, leaving me with a sense of peace and a renewed sense of purpose.

The letter remained in my hands, it words etched in my heart. Though the glow was gone, it's effect lingered, reminding me of the power of love and momery to transcend time and space.

I still can't believe that my mom is gone forever. She wrote the letter to me on her sick bed but I was not able to see it until recently. Reading the letter brought back memories of the past which will forever be cherished.
