The missing money

I woke up to find a note on my pillow “you have 24 hours” to find the missing money, it read.

I rubbed my eyes wondering whether I was dreaming. But as I sat up I looked round the room I realized it was real. I had no idea who wrote the letter and which money the person was referring to. I don't remember anyone mentioning missing money last night. But as I thought back to the previous night, I recalled a conversation with my parents about their money.

I quickly got dressed and rushed downstairs to the sitting room where I found my parents discussing.

”Good morning Dad, good morning Mom” I greeted and they responded ”morning dear” ”How was your night?” They asked and I replied with ”fine”.

”Dad, mom, I saw a note on my pillow saying I have 24 hours to find the missing money. Which missing money is that?”

”Yes, my money is missing since yesterday” said Dad . I was speechless as I went into the kitchen to carry out my morning chores. After my morning chores, I began to search for the money.

After a long search, I found the money in the drawer of my parent's room. I took the money to them in the sitting room and they asked me where I found the money.

” I found it in the drawer in your room dad”. ”Alright dear. Thank you very much” Dad replied and I went about my day.
