PIC1000: Surprised Visit To Granny.

What I see?

I see an aged woman, sitting by the stairs with a red long sleeve blouse and a wrapper on her waist. She has accessories on too, her hair is gray and there is a young lady by her side trying to go up the stairs with a basin of clothes.

What I feel?

I feel the aged woman is happy, because she is surrounded by her loved ones, and the smile on her face shows she has lived a fulfilled life.

My Story

Grandma Cecilia sat in her favorite spot, surrounded by memories of her lifetime and with a smile on her face. She was satisfied that the love she invested many years is being reciprocated.

Grandma was in the kitchen, when she heard a knock at the door and she hurried to open the door. Her heart was filled with excitement to see her daughter and her grandchildren. They hugged her tightly.

"Grandma we are here to spend the weekend with you" her daughter said.

“it’s so wonderful to see you guys”grandma replied.

*Thanks grandma. I was thinking we could bake some cookies, said the grandchildren"

She was happy because with those kids by her side, the weekend was going to be an exciting one for her.

They went to the kitchen and started searching for the ingredients while their mother went to do laundry.

Grandma let's get started, the ingredients are ready

As they spent the whole afternoon baking and laughing, grandma Cecilia felt grateful for the bond they shared.

She love watching her grandchildren grow and learn, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

As they were eating their freshly baked cookies, they asked their grandma to tell them a story. She smiled and was thinking of a better story to tell them but could not find one so she settled for the story of herself.

After telling them the story of herself, they were amazed to know that their grandma was still so strong after what she passed through in her youthful age. She asked them what they learnt from the story. Each of them shared their thoughts and she said they are all right.

Grandma advised them to always be kind to people when they have an opportunity to do so, because one day they would reap the fruit of their kindness. They were happy and thanked their grandma for sharing with them the story of her youthful days.

Grandma was happy because her weekend was a fulfilled one with her grandchildren around and the children were also happy that they spent the weekend in their grandma's place.
