LOH #244...... Senerity

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog.

In this week's contest, we are given two options to choose from and I will be writing on the first option that says *“Are you one of those who prefers a house with or without a garden? Do you like plants? What do you do to take care of them?”"

I'm the kind of person that likes a house with a garden because it offers a unique blend of comfort, beauty and tranquility. A house with a garden is an extension of the living space, it provides an opportunity to connect with nature, a place to relax and unwind from everyday’s stress.

Having a garden in my house will help me to admire the beauty of nature. I love plants and I would admire the way it grows and the serenity it brings.

Some plants help in pollination and it also serves as a home for some animals like birds and butterflies.

Gardening brings about fresh air and exercises. It helps in outdoor activities and promotes mental well-being. Having a garden in my house will help beautify the house and the surrounding because of the flowers, herbs and trees that will be planted. Most of these trees will serve as a shade from sunlight.

Having a garden in the house will help purify the air in the surrounding area. The plants help improve the outdoor air quality.

I like plants because most of the plants are used as medicines, food and a source of livelihood and it also saves money. Like now, planting an orange, mango, guava and cherry trees in my house and they start bearing fruits, I don't need to buy all those fruits again in the market, it has saved some money and I will use it to buy something else.

Also, having a garden where I plant vegetables will help me get fresh vegetables any time I want, rather than going to the market to get them.

What I will do to take care of my garden.

I will water my plants regularly especially in the dry season where there is no rain but I will make sure not to overdo it. I will make sure there is sufficient sunlight to give the plants photosynthesis because it is the sunlight that helps the plants to grow.

I will feed the plants with natural compost for them to have healthy growth, pruning the plants to maintain the shape of the plants.

I will also monitor the plants for any pests and diseases and take action if any is detected to prevent damage.

When I have my own house, I would have a garden for sure so that I can plant different kinds of plants and take care of them. It will help me in fresh air and it will serve as an outdoor activity for me and my family.
