Moses was in his office typing away on his computer when a knock at the door interrupted him. Looking up, he saw that it was Linda, his best friend.

“Hey Linda, what are you doing in my office at this time?”

“Can't I come see my friend in his office again ?”Linda responded with a smile.

“Please be serious, you know I'm working now” Moses said.

“Okay, I brought a deal for you and a big one for that matter.” Linda replied.

“A deal? How did you come about the deal?” Moses asked.

“Bro forget about that. All you need to know is that the deal is real and as my friend I want to carry you along.” Linda responded.

Moses looked at her contemplating whether she was serious or not.

He decided not to keep arguing with her. They chatted for a while in the office and later went out to get lunch at an eatery close to the office.

While having their lunch, Mose brought up the topic again so that he would have enough information about the deal.

“Linda, can you tell me the name of the company again and what they do?”

“It's named G&G Enterprise, and they deal in textiles.”

“Okay. So where do I come in here?” Moses enquired.

“I need you to invest some money, like we will do a joint investment, I have one million and I need two million to make it three million.” Linda said.

“Two million is not a joke Linda, and you know I'm the manager in my company and I can't afford to take such a risk. By the way, how sure are you that the deal is legit?

"I'm sure trust me. My instincts don't lie" she replied

*Okay, no problem, I will think about it” Moses concluded.

They continued their chat while having their lunch. After their lunch, they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways.

On getting to the office, Moses thought about what Linda said and decided to investigate the company but he did not get any tangible information about the company.

After two weeks, Linda called Moses to know his stance concerning the deal.

“Hi Moses, what have you decided concerning the deal I told you about?” Linda asked.

“Sorry dear, I did not get back to you. I made an investigation about the company but I did not get any tangible information about them, so I will not invest.” Moses responded.

“It’s okay, no hard feelings.” Linda said and hung up the call.

Few weeks later, Moses read from the newspaper about G&G Enterprise, and how those that invested got double of what they had invested.

Moses was surprised to see that the company he refused to invest in is making headlines in most of the national newspapers.

He picked up his phone and called Linda.

“Hi Linda, I just read from the newspaper now about G&G Enterprise and how those that invested are making it big.”

“Yes ooo, told you that the deal is legit but you didn't want to take the risk.” Linda replied.

“Did you invest?” Moses asked.

“Yes I did. I decided to take the risk and invest” Linda said.

“How did you get the two million to invest?” Moses asked.

“My dear, I took a loan from my company and invested. I decided to take the risk because I had a positive feeling about it.” Linda

“Congratulations dear, I'm happy for you" Moses told her.

After hanging up the call, Moses wished he took the risk and invested in the deal.

He wished he could turn back the hand of time.
