Roseline was a pop star and she was known for her dazzling performances and chart-topping hits. She was well known by so many people and her fans adored her.
However, Roseline's success had gone to her head. She soon became proud, arrogant and demanding, often belittling her staff and colleagues, not listening to others opinion in the industry.
Everyone in the industry became tired of her behaviour and they sorted for a way to solve the issue and look for a lasting solution.
One day, Roseline's manager, Amanda, called a meeting with her to discuss her behaviour. Amanda was accompanied by Roseline's publicist, Joel.
Amanda started the conversation, “Roseline we need to talk about your recent behaviour. You are being impossible to work with. You are constantly late, rude to your staff, and you are making unreasonable demands.”
Roseline rolled her eyes, “what's the big deal? I am a star, I deserve to be treated like one.”
Joel, her publicist, spoke up, “Roseline, being a star doesn't give you the right to treat people with disrespect. You are hurting your staff and you are also tarnishing your reputation.”
“My reputation? Common I am a pop star, I can do whatever I please.” Rosaline remarked.
Amanda sighed, “Roseline, you are not listening. You need to take a step back and realize that you are not the only one in this industry. You need to learn to work with others and treat them with respect.”
Roseline's expression changed and she became angry, but Amanda continued. “Roseline, you need to eat a slice of humble pie. You need to swallow your pride and admit that you are not perfect.”
Roseline’s anger turned to shock, and she stared at Amanda, her eyes wide with surprise. “What do you mean?” she asked.
“I mean that you should acknowledge that you are not always right. You need to listen to others opinion and take their feedback seriously.” Amanda explained.
Those words got to Roseline, and she thought for a moment before nodding. “You are right. I have been acting like a diva, I will try to do better.”
Joel smiled, “That is all we can ask for, Roseline.”
Amanda nodded, “Good, now let's get to work on repairing your reputation.”
Roseline smiled, feeling a sense of relief and gratitude. “Thank you guys. I don't know what I would have done without you.”
Roseline started treating people with respect and listening to other's opinion in the industry. People started coming close to her again because she had change for the better.
Years later, Roseline became more popular in the industry and she was performing in different occasions and traveling for events.
Amanda was so happy with how things turned out for Roseline and her reputation restored.
Roseline was happy that she heeded Amanda's advice. She was grateful for her manager and all her staff and colleagues for not giving up on her when her pride took the best of her.

How fortunate that she was able to trace back her steps. Sadly, this is the reality of fame. It can be hard to control. And it's even worse for people that cut everyone off after they acquire fame.
