CNF#5.......My Super Hero.
My father, a man of strong principles and unwavering support, has been my guiding light throughout my life. His influence has shaped me into what I am today. He is a man of his own, he does not let the things of the world get to him. My father is a man of peace, he does not like things disturbing him.
There was an incident that happened when I was much younger between my family and our extended relatives that would have escalated if not that my father is a man of peace.

My father was in the house one morning and one of his relatives came to the house and was shouting that my father is the cause of his daughter's death. My father was just surprised because he never had an issue with the man before, so after he finished ranting and calling the crowd for himself and not for my father he left. My dad was just on his seat without uttering any word. People were just saying why not say a word and defend yourself. My dad laughed and said “what do you people want me to say? I know I'm innocent.”
I was just marvelled that my dad was not moved even when people were telling him that if it were to be them, they wouldn't have let it slide. My dad only told them "there is no need to fight someone that is frustrated already, so just let him be, he will come back to his senses.” Truly the man came to apologize to my dad, asking for his forgiveness.
That little action of my dad shows that is not everything we should approach with a fight especially at the heat of the moment because we might regret later.
Growing up, my father taught me the value of hard work and determination. He worked tirelessly to provide for our family, sacrificing his own needs for ours making sure we are okay. His selflessness and dedication inspired me to strive for greatness in everything I did. My father is optimistic in all his doings, never giving up no matter how many times he fails.
You know that saying jack of all trade and master of none That is my father for you. He will do everything by just looking at the person doing it. He is always determined to do it no matter the challenges he faces on the way.
One day, I was having difficulty in carrying out the project I was given in school. I tried so many times and I failed, I became tired and exhausted. My father saw the way I was struggling and almost giving up, he came to me and sat beside me.
“My daughter, it's okay to make mistakes. What is important is that you learn from them and keep moving forward, I am here to support you no matter what.” He said to me, giving me a pat on my back.
His words of encouragement gave me confidence to push through challenges of life and believe in myself that I'm capable of so many things. He taught me that failure is not the end, but an opportunity to learn and grow.

As I grew older, I began to appreciate the sacrifices my father made for us. He never misses our family's time together. His love and support are always there and he is always there to give us a listening ear. He is my hero because he has influenced me to the extent I can't describe. He is kind, loving, accommodating and generous.
My father is my hero, and I aspire to be like him in character and in value as I continue in my life journey here on Earth. He is the best father anyone could have asked for and I'm grateful for his love and guidance.
Thank you all for reading.
Images are mine.
I'm so glad you have a father you consider a hero and that you want to be like him. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day too
A loving father is always a hero to his children; there's no better definition of a hero. I liked the phrase: 'Jack of all trades, master of none.'
Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Excellent Thursday.
Your father looks like a kind man. You are a lucky person to be her daughter. It's very beutiful that he is your hero.
Wow, reading through this, I have determined to be a father like yours.
Reading through this, I couldn't help but smile. Your father is a good man. He seemed to me like a man who doesn't like problems at all.
People barely talk about their fathers, but you chose to dedicate this write-up to your father. You have written well. ❤️
See dad's girl. Glad to read about how much your dad means to you
I love it when people acknowledge the love of a father. There might be deadbeat father's but there are also true loving fathers. Your father is an example of a good father.
It was nice to read this.
