CNF#131.....A Birthday Beyond Dreams.

It was my birthday, and I had been looking forward to it for weeks. I was turning 15, and I couldn't wait to celebrate it with my family and friends. But little did I know that this birthday was going to be unlike the others.

As I woke up that morning, I felt a strange tingling sensation in the air. I looked around my room, and everything seemed normal, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that something magical was about to happen.

I got dressed and ran downstairs to the kitchen, where my mom had prepared a special birthday breakfast for me. There were pancakes, cookies and cupcakes all for me. I hugged my mom and told her thank you. I took a cupcake and started munching when I heard a faint humming noise coming from the outside.

I looked out the window and that is when I saw a beautiful, shimmering hot air balloon floating above our backyard. It was coloured in shades of pink, blue and purple, and it seems to be calling my name.

“Mom, look!” I exclaimed. “Is that for me?”

My mom smiled and nodded. “It's a special birthday surprise. Go get ready, and we'll take a ride.”

When my mom said “go get ready, we’ll take a ride”. I couldn't believe my ears, I had always dreamed of riding in a hot air balloon, and now, on my birthday, it was actually happening. I was so excited.

As we soared above the trees, the wind blowing through my hair, I felt free and happy. We floated over fields and different areas in our estate, the view was breathtaking and I felt like on top of the world.

But the magic didn't stop there. After floating with the hot air balloon, my mom took me to the park where there was another surprise waiting for me. I was shocked when I saw some of my friends in the park. Immediately we got to where they were, they all shouted “happy birthday”. I was short of words, all I could say was thank you.

My mom had planned a surprise birthday for me without my knowledge and she had invited all my friends too. I was very excited and could not wish for anything else than to enjoy my day to the fullest.

As we continued with the party, gifts were presented to me by friends and my mom also presented me a gift which was so special. We still enjoyed ourselves in the evening and it was time for me to blow off the candle light in my birthday cake.

I was asked to make a wish before I blew off the candle light. I made a silent wish and blew off the candle. My mom asked me what I wished for, I smiled before answering her question.

I said "I wish the day wouldn't come to an end". My mom smiled and said “you still have many more years to celebrate, okay.”

As we got home, I hugged my mom tightly, feeling grateful for the most incredible birthday ever. As I looked up at the sky, I knew this was just the beginning of a year filled with wonder, magic and adventure.

Thank you all for reading.
