Hive Naija Weekly Prompt 30: My Breakthrough Understanding on Hive

Happy new week to everyone @Hive Naija community and it's yet another awesome time on the hive naija weekly prompt where different thoughts are shared and value been added. I'm @fab-tay and 'am glad to be participating once again this week and i will be sharing on my breakthrough understanding on Hive. These are my personal experiences learnt so far in my journey on hive platform and please note that these things were previously challenging to me but now i understood them better by the help of my wife who introduced me to Hive about 3 months ago and has been my guide. I know it's worth sharing as it promises to be eye opening, kindly read through this thread. Source
One of the outstanding breakthrough understanding i had so far about Hive is to know that Hive is like a "market" so to say with different routes leading to it. Though introduced to Hive through ecency, then there comes a time i need to do an editing on a post i just posted on my blog and i didn't know how to go about it just fee weeks starting my Hive journey, i tried all sorts but it's not working. I discussed this with my wife and she explained to me more about Hive and these other platforms into it. Through this, i got to know about PeakD and Hive.blog, through this understanding, the editing was resolved and also i explore these other platforms with their peculiarities and advantages which helped to salvage subsequent challenges. I will advise engagement on different platforms as each is perculiar and is useful based on the present need. Source
Another thing that took me time to understand but later was helpful was how to upload videos on Hive platform. I got to know that 3speak is the official means of doing this and hence need to register on this platform based on my findings. So i tried the registration and i was having issues with it and some of the communities i joined requires this video upload, so i resorted back to my guide (my wife) for help and by so doing, i was able to do the registration and uploading. I also downloaded the 3speak app and since then it has been ceaseless and enjoyable. For those new to Hive or having similar issues, i will encourage them to find someone that might put them through after making their personal findings to avoid errors and mistakes and to save from unnecessary/avoidable stress.

Finally, another thing that which is profound that took my time in understanding it is the discord channels. Discord channels are key for engagements, interactions, updates etc which most of the different communities encourages the participation of hivers in their discord channels. By enquiry and inquisitiveness, i find out about discord channels and i have joined few with the hope of maximizing it as i progress on this hive journey. For those who are finding it difficult navigating some communities on Hive or are yet to join discord chamnels, i will advise to do so. These are my personal experiences from about 3 months on Hive and i believe it worth the reading and i believe that there is no end to learning and we will still keeping learning unto better days.
