Inktober Day Six; Pierce

This time around, I didn’t have to look up the meaning of the prompt like I did when the prompt was ‘Murky’. This time around the prompt was ‘Pierce’ and I wanted to have a kind of combat scene where one swordsman ⚔️ stabs another person and the blade pierces the back of the individual.

I was utterly let down when I didn’t immediately see one in my gallery. And when I was about giving up, I saw a digital representation of a soldier and imagined a bullet going through him 🤯, mind blowing isn’t it.

I started the sketch and implanted the bullet in front of him. As I was drawing this, The Partisan by Leonard Cohen (my favourite songwriter) came on so just like old times, I share that with you…..
