I had every intention of sharing this work with you yesterday hours after I shared that of the Samurai but the day had plans for me that transcended mine. I was fortunate last week to across this portrait and just as I saw it I was curious to see how well a side view representation I did turn out.

The paper I used was stained with old water marks and had colours lent to it by time that were somehow inline with what I usually like. Well, as I progressed in the work and editing I noticed that the colours were contrasting a lot and put an hold to that idea.
