Moustache

If you’ve been following me up these past two days you would have noticed the exquisiteness of the works I now share. They were born from near perfect references and a drive to impress something special like I used to. There are some works I will share later that are not as firm as these because their references and the techniques I used are shabby in nature and that shabbiness is what (I feel) brings out the beauty in them.

The very moment I saw this moustache fellow I was drawn to it. If you’re an avid fan or a long standing one, you would have noticed that I have a special thing for moustaches. One of the main reason is because my Grandfather and his Father before him had one. My Dad always shaved and even till date the longest I have seen him go without shaving is one week. At one time though he kept side burns (the one that was common in the 70s).

I have tried to grow mine and even though my whole face is full of hair and I am well bearded, my upper lips has withdrawn itself from participating in this ceremony.
I know one day I will have this and I have even started a new method to grow them so watch out 😜
