The Pear of Despair || a five minute prompt

The pear of despair like it was narrated to me, comes from an ancient line of tools used to punish evil doers. They said it is like a machine that causes anguish and despair to people that do evil. It is like a recompense machine. I don't have all the details and how it works, but it is really a thing. I guess these days we just call it "karma". What goes around, comes around.

There could also be an expression attached to this but it is not visible yet, maybe in subsequent times it might be.
