Raw Sewage || a five minute prompt
Raw sewage is untreated wastewater from homes, businesses, and industries, containing human waste (feces, urine), used water, detergents, and harmful pathogens like bacteria, viruses, and parasites, flowing in sewers before any purification, posing health risks if exposed. It's essentially waste in its most natural state, requiring treatment to become safe for environmental release. Link
The raw form of sewage is at its purest form, just as the illustration highlighted above. Folks are always running from the sewage because of the smell but it is a good source of manure for farmers and gardeners.
I remember when the sewage company came to extract sewage from our reservoir, our neighbors were watching and avoiding contact with the sewage because it is raw. Nobody wants to see or smell raw sewage, so they simply avoid it.
Despite the situation, raw sewage has its advantages and it's disadvantages. But most people only see raw sewage as a source of pollution.
