A deficiency means a lack or insufficiency of something, either in quantity or quality. It can refer to a shortage of a substance, a weakness or flaw in something, or the state of not having enough of something needed. For example, a vitamin deficiency means your body is not getting enough of a particular vitamin, which can lead to health problems. Link

The problem about deficiencies is that you might not really know what you are lacking until you start getting symptoms for deficiency.

It is best not to argue what is a deficiency or what is not as far as the body is concerned. The body needs nutrients, and it is important that these nutrients are provided for the body to function effectively.

People usually do not pay attention to the facts of deficiency, infact most people do not even know. I did not know for a while, but after my enlightenment, I had to adjust. Keep the deficiency list to a minimum.
