Abuse is physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person. This includes any behaviors that frighten, intimidate, terrorize, manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure, or wound someone. Link

Abuse can also mean the misuse of something. When you make use of something in the wrong way, it's an abuse.

In other words, abuse is something of a bad word. It is a bad influence on others, it can be because of peer groups. Abuse of any form should be stopped, it does not help anyone neither does it promote the society.
