I guess horses too wear shoes after all, lol.
The horseshoe is a u shaped metal worn for the horse, it is attached to their hoof. From what I read, they said it brings good luck to the horse.

The horseshoe has been used for a long time. Obviously, not all horses can make use of it but the way I see it, the owner has that decision to make for the horse. I don't know if the shoes are expensive, but my major concern is the comfortability of the horses. This is because something artificial attached to their body might not be really convenient for the horse. Their hoof is strong enough already, I really do not see the need for a shoe.
