Grandfather Paradox || a five minute prompt
The grandfather paradox is a thought experiment in time travel where a person goes back in time and alters the past, leading to a contradiction in the present. Specifically, if someone were to travel back in time and prevent their own birth by harming their grandfather before their parent was conceived, they would both exist and not exist simultaneously, creating a paradox. This paradox highlights the potential logical inconsistencies that could arise from changing the past. Link
The idea of time travel is a fiction, it's not real. The world would not be safe if such concept exist in the first place because there will certainly be a misuse of power, people will want to right their wrongs. The world will be too perfect, no more mistakes, hence no more learning. But there cannot be time travel with the grandfather paradox because certain variables will be tampered with and the effects will be dire.
The concept of the grandfather paradox is an interesting one, but thank God such concepts do not exist. We need to make mistakes and live with them, this helps us grow and carefully make our choices.
