MY UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE

Hello! you are welcome to my blog today.
Before telling you my unforgettable experience, I want to use this medium to wish you a Happy New Month.

After my Primary school my dad took me to a boarding school. The name of the school is Government Science Secondary School Nasarawa Eggon in Nasarawa State. The school is just like a military training ground. Why do I say so? The senior students punishes the junior students anyhow with any little or no offense.
If by mistake, you didn't greet a senior student, even when you don't know he is a senior, the kind of beating you will receive that day, will make you think if may be you are caught stealing something that's why you are receiving such kind of beating. So as a new Jss 1 student, who don't know who a senior student is and who is not, I do greet any body I see to avoid receiving some stroke of cane😃😃. At times after greeting some students, I will later see them seating in the same class with me. I will be like, so they are even my classmates and I greeted them as if they are senior students🤣🤣🤣
One of the thing that the senior students does in the hostel that I hate the most is the 'General Beating' Any day declared as general beating day, all the wicked senior students will bring a lot of canes to flog us as if we are animals😭. After gathering all the junior students in the hostel, they will ask us all to lie down and say today is declare for general beating. That's how they will beat us anyhow they like. Some seniors are flogging us 3 strokes of cane each, while some 5 and more. My dad brought me to the school with my cousin brother, so we do join our food stuffs together. There was a day a senior student came to our room in the hostel and demanded we give him sugar. Then I spoke our tribe to my brother telling him not to give him, not knowing the senior student is same tribe with us. He then asked me to follow him to his room. When I got in he asked me to lie down. He said so I'm telling my brother not to give him sugar right? that was how this senior students flog the hell out of me that day. And still asked me for the sugar and I went and gave him for fear of another round of beating 🤣. I really cried that day😭 not just for the beating but for the fact that my sugar was forcefully collected from me.
And one thing I hate so much about the school is the fact that the stream where we do get water is very far. So another way a senior will punish you is by asking you to get him a bucket of water from the stream.
After my Jss 1, I told my dad that I can't return back to that school again because of how we are been treated like animals, that was how my dad took me to another school.
