MUM THOUGHT I'M GOING MAD CAUSE OF MUSIC.

Today I will be sharing with you on how I started my musical journey and how my mum thought I'm going insane but she later discovered I'm not, and she...(Just read to the end )

I started singing since I was growing up as a little child and officially started composing and writing songs at age 12.
At that time as a young boy who just discovered his gift, I always compose and write songs. During holidays I always luck myself in the room and be rehearsing songs. Now the thing is I don't only sing song, I also rap. As I kept on rehearsing and rapping, one day I had a knock on my door, and as I open the door, behold my mum step in and she started questioning me. She said why will I just lock myself in the room always and be shouting in the name of singing? I said mum, I'm only rehearsing my songs and working on my rapping skills. She then said what kind of rehearsals is this that I will be singing fast and she is not even understanding anything there? She was actually talking about rapping 😃
I then told her that it's a genre of music that some people understand and flow well with.
She just nod and went out.
As I kept rehearsing consistently my mom became worried, and approached me another day. She approached me gently and said, "please my son is there anything wrong with you?" I said no Ma, she further said "if something is wrong with you, you should please tell me so we can pray for you" I smiled and said there is nothing wrong with me. She just left worried.
It therefore got to the time I recorded my first track in the studio. When I returned home and played the song to my parent, they both loved the song and were hailing me that the song is great. Since after listening to my song mum now believe in my gift, and it's that same day she said she earlier thought I'm already going mad with the way I always lock myself in the room and be singing for longtime. And we all laughed 😃😃.
Since then mum start supporting my music carrier in her own little way.
In Conclusion, don't give up on your dreams even when people around you don't believe in what you are doing. Keep building yourself on it and a time is coming they will appreciate it.
