Hola a todos! el fin de semana pasado mi esposo y yo decidímos ir a la tienda Action a comprarle más tempera a Olivia ya que la de ella se le había terminado y buscandola allí ví también unos marcadores grandes que me parecieron perfectos para empezar a hacer la actividad de seguir puntos con Olivia por lo que los compré y es que este año ya ella va a empezar a ir al preescolar y como mamá quiero prepararla para esta etapa, además de que me encantaría que ella fuera motivada a la escuela y que el cambio no sea tan fuerte.

Ahora bien, una vez llegamos a casa, sacamos el block y empecé a hacer pequeñas líneas rectas (o eso intentaba) con un marcador, luego le mostré a Olivia como seguir estas y ella rápidamente entendió qué tenía que hacer lo que me dejó muy sorprendida, así que seguí haciendo lo mismo con los demás marcadores y ella seguía las líneas con estos y es que pienso que a veces como padres subestibamos las capacidades de nuestros hijos y pensamos que están pequeños para ciertas actividades y resulta que no es así y nos sorprenden, lo importante es enseñarlos desde la paciencia y con amor, e intentarlo para darnos cuenta si ellos están listos para hacer tal actividad de acuerdo a su edad o no.

Luego como mamá me dí cuenta que la actividad de seguir puntos tiene muchos beneficios para el desarrollo de los niños como mejorar la coordinación mano-ojo y la motricidad fina, fomentar la concentración y la paciencia, estimular la imaginación, y por supuesto los prepara para el mundo de la escritura, además de mejorar el agarre, sin duda alguna me encantó hacer esta actividad con Olivia y ahora solo espero el momento adecuado para empezar a hacer lo mismo para descubrir figuras.

Hello, everyone! Last weekend, my husband and I decided to go to Action to buy Olivia some more tempera paint, since she had run out. While looking for it, I also saw some large markers that I thought would be perfect for starting to do dot-to-dot activities with Olivia, so I bought them. This year, she will be starting preschool, and as her mom, I want to prepare her for this stage. plus I would love for her to be motivated to go to school and for the change not to be so drastic.

Once we got home, we took out the pad and I started drawing small straight lines (or at least I tried to) with a marker. Then I showed Olivia how to trace them, and she quickly understood what she had to do, which surprised me. so I continued doing the same with the other markers and she followed the lines with them. I think that sometimes as parents we underestimate our children's abilities and think they are too young for certain activities, but it turns out that this is not the case and they surprise us. The important thing is to teach them with patience and love, and to try to see if they are ready to do such an activity according to their age or not.

Then, as a mother, I realized that tracing dots has many benefits for children's development, such as improving hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, encouraging concentration and patience, stimulating imagination, and, of course, preparing them for the world of writing, as well as improving their grip. I absolutely loved doing this activity with Olivia, and now I'm just waiting for the right moment to start doing the same thing to discover shapes.
