Nuestro fin de año [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! primero quiero desearles un feliz año nuevo y mis mejores deseos a cada de uno de ustedes y por supuesto ojalá que la hayan pasado muy lindo ayer, por mi parte les cuento que aunque nosotros no hicimos gran cosa, la verdad es que fue un día muy bonito en familia, empezamos la mañana dandonos cuenta que todo afuera estaba lleno de nieve y la verdad es que no lo esperabamos pero nos encantó recibir el año así pues de hecho creo que desde que estoy en Polonia no había pasado un 31 de diciembre con nieve.

Ahora bien, ya en la noche mi esposo y yo empezamos a brindar con unas cervezas mientras cocinabamos, y escuchabamos música navideña, pero antes de eso tuve que ir al supermercado porque había olvidado comprar las uvas para seguir la tradición de comer las 12 uvas antes de las 12 pues es algo que me encanta hacer cada año.

Olivia se quedó despierta con nosotros hasta los 12, y una vez terminamos las uvas, fuímos a ver los fuegos artificiales afuera, por supuesto bien cubiertos porque estaba haciendo bastante frío y sorprendidos de ver tanta gente en la calle afuera como nosotros viendo los fuegos artificiales.

Después de un rato afuera, volvimos adentro y Olivia se fue a dormir, así que finalmente mi esposo y yo nos relajamos brindando nuevamente con un prosecco (que por cierto estaba delicioso) mientras veíamos nuestra serie, agradeciendo por todo lo que vivimos en el 2025 y deseando que este 2026 traiga muchas más cosas lindas para todos! Hello, everyone! First, I want to wish you all a happy new year and send my best wishes to each and every one of you. I hope you had a wonderful time yesterday. As for me, I can tell you that although we didn't do anything special, the truth is that it was a very nice day with the family. We started the morning realizing that everything outside was covered in snow, which we didn't expect, but we loved welcoming the new year that way. In fact, I don't think I've ever had a December 31st with snow since I've been in Poland.

Now, in the evening, my husband and I started toasting with a few beers while we cooked and listened to Christmas music, but before that I had to go to the supermarket because I had forgotten to buy the grapes to follow the tradition of eating 12 grapes before midnight, which is something I love to do every year.

Olivia stayed up with us until midnight, and once we finished the grapes, we went outside to watch the fireworks, bundled up because it was quite cold, and surprised to see so many people on the street outside watching the fireworks with us.

After spending some time outside, we went back inside and Olivia went to bed, so my husband and I finally relaxed, toasting again with some prosecco (which was delicious, by the way) while watching our series, giving thanks for everything we experienced in 2025 and hoping that 2026 will bring many more wonderful things for everyone!
