Celebrando nuevamente el jueves gordo [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! han sido días ocupados por aquí pero no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad para contarles que hoy celebramos nuevamente el jueves gordo en Polonia o Tłusty czwartek en polaco, así que como cada año Pawel y yo no dejamos pasar la oportunidad para comer donas o Pączki aunque también se puede comer Faworki, y es que como ya les he contado, en Polonia es tradición de que el último jueves antes de la cuaresma los polacos se reunen para comer donas pues según esto trae buena suerte y abundancia y muchos queremos eso jajaja.

Así que este día las panaderias o pastelerias en Polonia están llenas de gente listas para comprar sus donas, y mi esposo fue el encargado este año de ir a comprarlas (ya que mi suegro no estaba) y claro que aprovechó para traer varias donas, además les cuento que estaban deliciosas y este año Olivia pudo probarlas pues a su edad ella está curiosa por probar muchos alimentos y aunque le ofrecimos un poco la verdad es que no le gustaron jajaja supongo que es porque no está acostumbrada a comer dulces y claro que las donas tienen bastante de este.

Por mi parte aunque las donas ya me aburren o empalagan debo decir que hoy me comí 3, supongo que es porque tenía un año sin comerlas ya que me parecen muy dulces, pero hoy se sentían muy deliciosas y la verdad es que este día se disfrutan con muchas ganas, mi esposo si comió 5 donas pero son pequeñas y él es polaco jajaja. De todas formas les cuento que es un día que disfrutamos mucho todos, especialmente hoy porque el sol salió y nos calentó un poco y la verdad es que no podemos esperar hasta el proximo año para celebrarlo pues es un día muy genial.

Hello, everyone! It's been a busy few days here, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to tell you that today we are once again celebrating Fat Thursday in Poland, or Tłusty czwartek in Polish. So, like every year, Pawel and I are not missing the chance to eat doughnuts, or Pączki, although you can also eat Faworki. As I've already told you, in Poland it's a tradition that on the last Thursday before Lent, Poles get together to eat doughnuts because it's said to bring good luck and abundance, and many of us want that, ha ha ha.

So, on this day, bakeries and pastry shops in Poland are full of people ready to buy their doughnuts, and my husband was in charge of buying them this year (since my father-in-law was away), and of course, he took the opportunity to bring back several doughnuts. and I have to say they were delicious. This year, Olivia was able to try them because at her age she is curious to try many foods, but even though we offered her a little, the truth is that she didn't like them, ha ha ha. I guess it's because she's not used to eating sweets, and of course, donuts are quite sweet.

For my part, even though I'm bored with doughnuts and find them sickly sweet, I have to say that today I ate three. I guess it's because I hadn't eaten them for a year, as I find them very sweet, but today they tasted delicious and the truth is that this day is really enjoyed with great enthusiasm. My husband ate five doughnuts, but they are small and he is Polish, ha ha ha. Anyway, I can tell you that it's a day we all enjoy very much, especially today because the sun came out and warmed us up a bit. The truth is that we can't wait until next year to celebrate it because it's such a great day.
