Weekly Engagement-WK 16: My Vacation Experience
So, this was precisely last year February when we were on break and becoming bored of our environment, I and my friend needed a break from stress, school, and of course our environment.
Fortunately for us, we had an event to attend that would be taking us out of our L.G.A for some days, but we saw that as an opportunity and seized that opportunity as our vacation that we've been wanting for a while.
Well, the occasion took place during the weekend as it was the burial of these friends of my grandfathers, so we got into her city weekend.
Well, before we left our place, we prepared our bags for a weekend vacation, so after the burial was over, we didn't go back home but went back to her for the vacation proper.
Well, since it was our first time in that city for a long vacation, we decided to stroll around the city, with her to get to know the big places around there and finally we decided to visit their shopping mall to get a few things for ourselves.
We went around asking the prices of a few things we thought to find out, just to know the price differences between our city and theirs and we got a gold laugh while at that.
When it was Sunday, we all went to her church with her family, and after service, we decided to take pictures to remember that little vacation in her city and would say it was the best part of all.
I remember how we would all be inside and be gist and shouting at the top of our voices, only to get a caution from her mother that we were disturbing the peace of the neighbourhood with our noise but we didn't care because we were there for the fun and the fun we were going to make out of it.
Some nights when the PHCN would take their light, leaving us in darkness, we would all go outside of the house and continue our gist this time involving their neighbour who is a guy and of our age bracket.
