A Visit to My Favourite Family
Phew! Today has been a hell of a rollercoaster for me that's why I am deciding to pen down this day for remembrance sake but notwithstanding, writing this now, I feel a bit calm.
My visit to this family had always been postponed due to my daily running around, school stuff, exams, and the rest of it.
It got so bad that both couples had to put a call across to me wondering why I have not been able to visit them like I used to after their wedding and the dedication ceremony of their beautiful daughter.
Although my reasons are not valid for abandoning them because while I was constantly visiting their home, I was still attending to studies and running the necessary things I had going on, but I guess I became relaxed more because I knew after their big ceremony, they wouldn't have any need of me, well so was my thought.
But today, after encountering what I call as set back and having a rough day, with my mind clouded with so much trouble, I decided to take a walk out of the house after weeks of being indoors after my last exams, please don't blame me, the introverted part of me love staying indoors and not having the worries of having to think about what to wear when going out.
Well, today I needed the outing and I knew the closest place was theirs although I have always had intentions of visiting them one of these days, but I constantly postpone because of my laziness in getting out of the house and dress issues.
Well, against all odds, today, I visited them and my day was impeccable and beautiful, especially with their beautiful daughter because I had to hold her down as she crawled around and scattered everywhere while they were trying to prepare their dinner.
This baby girl constantly reminds me that she has grown up and has started growing teeth as well as she will constantly fight to get hold of my hands and bite me so hard with those two teeth of hers that I would have to scream and let her mom know that I was going to retaliate back, obviously it was painful even though they were tiny.
It was indeed a wonderful moment with this beautiful couple of mine and their beautiful baby girl today, they made my day so much that I am hoping one of these days, I will be going to their place.
