Hello, @talentos family! 🌟
How joyful to be here again, sharing this space that already feels like a virtual coffee among friends. This week, @angelica7 from our Empower Talent community proposes a theme that made me smile immediately: Connections. And what are they, if not those magical, invisible threads that give meaning to everything we do?
If you think about it, our lives are a giant network of connections. Some are obvious, like friendship or love. Others are more subtle, like that song that transports you to a specific moment, or the smell of coffee that connects you to mornings at your grandmother’s house. And what about those long-distance connections that, like in this community, make us feel close despite the kilometers?
Connecting with Yourself: The First Link
Before connecting with others, there’s that essential encounter: with ourselves. In a world full of noise, we sometimes lose that inner conversation. Have you taken a moment lately to ask yourself: “How am I today? What do I need?”
For me, as an artist and programmer (yes, those two passions again!), connecting with myself has meant accepting that I don’t have to choose just one identity. I can be emotionally multitasking and love every part of who I am. That, too, is connecting: integrating our passions, our talents, and even our fears.
Connections That Build Community
And then there’s all of you! People we’ve met in this little corner of Hive. Isn’t it wonderful? Virtual connections that turn into support, laughter, and those comments that brighten the day.
At @talentos, they know this well: every Tuesday in the “Talent Encounter,” it’s not just about sharing our posts; it’s about weaving complicity. It’s celebrating the effort of those who write, paint, cook, or program with their hearts on their sleeves. That’s the magic: connecting through authenticity.
Can You Be Connected and Still Feel Lonely?
A tough question! I believe yes. Sometimes we’re surrounded by people and feel alone. Hasn’t that happened to you? While other times, in complete stillness, we feel deeply accompanied by a memory, a project, or that person who, even from afar, sends us a message just at the right time.
Connection doesn’t depend solely on physical presence. It depends on the quality of attention and intention we put into every bond. (I’ll take this exact moment while writing to send a little message to my friends far away, because sometimes, caught up in the daily grind, we disconnect even from those we have nearby.)
Connecting with What We Do: The Spark That Ignites Everything
Let’s also talk about connecting with our passions. That emotion we feel when we paint, write, or solve a coding problem? That’s pure connection. It’s flow. It’s feeling like we’re exactly where we’re meant to be. But until we find that connection with what we do, we can feel lost. It’s necessary to look inward and find ourselves in the things we love to do.
When we manage to align our talent and our purpose, we stop “working” and start “creating.” And that, dear friends, changes everything.
I feel very fortunate to belong to this community, as every week they propose themes that lead us to deep reflections and inspire action in our lives <3

¡Hola, familia de @talentos 🌟
QuĂ© alegrĂa estar aquĂ nuevamente, compartiendo con ustedes este espacio que ya se siente como un cafĂ© virtual entre amigos. Esta semana, @angelica7 de nuestra comunidad Empower Talent nos propone un tema que me hizo sonreĂr de inmediato: Conexiones. ÂżY quĂ© son, sino esos hilos mágicos e invisibles que le dan sentido a todo lo que hacemos?
Si lo piensan, nuestra vida es una red gigante de conexiones. Algunas son evidentes, como la amistad o el amor. Otras, más sutiles, como esa canciĂłn que te transporta a un momento especĂfico o el olor a cafĂ© que te conecta con las mañanas en casa de tu abuela. Incluso, ÂżquĂ© hay de esas conexiones a distancia que, como en esta comunidad, logran hacernos sentir cerca a pesar de los kilĂłmetros?
Conectar con uno mismo: el primer eslabĂłn
Antes de conectar con otros, está ese encuentro esencial: con nosotros mismos. En un mundo lleno de ruido, a veces perdemos esa conversación interior. ¿Se han dado un momento a solas para preguntarse: "¿Cómo estoy hoy? ¿Qué necesito?"?
Para mĂ, como artista y programadora (¡sĂ, esas dos pasiones otra vez!), conectar conmigo misma ha significado aceptar que no tengo que elegir una sola identidad. Puedo ser multitasking emocional y amar cada parte de lo que soy. Eso tambiĂ©n es conectar: integrar nuestras pasiones, nuestros talentos y hasta nuestros miedos.
Conexiones que construyen comunidad
¡Y luego están ustedes! Gente con la que coincidimos en este rinconcito de Hive. ÂżNo es maravilloso? Conexiones virtuales que se transforman en apoyo, en risas, en esos comentarios que alegran el dĂa.
En @talentos lo saben bien: cada martes en el "Encuentro de Talentos" no solo se presentan nuestras publicaciones; se tejen complicidades. Se celebra el esfuerzo de quien escribe, pinta, cocina o programa con el corazĂłn en la mano. Esa es la magia: conectar desde la autenticidad.
ÂżY se puede estar conectado y sentir soledad?
¡Pregunta difĂcil! Yo creo que sĂ. A veces estamos rodeados de gente y nos sentimos solos. ÂżNo les ha sucedido? Mientras que otras veces, en completa quietud, nos sentimos profundamente acompañados por un recuerdo, un proyecto o esa persona que, aunque lejos, nos manda un mensaje justo a tiempo.
La conexiĂłn no depende solo de la presencia fĂsica. Depende de la calidad de la atenciĂłn y la intenciĂłn que ponemos en cada vĂnculo. (AprovecharĂ© este preciso momento de redacciĂłn para escribirles un mensajito a mis amigos en la distancia, pues a veces, sumergidos en el dia a dia, nos desconectamos, inclusive de aquellos a quienes tenemos cerca).
Conectar con lo que hacemos: la chispa que enciende todo
Hablemos también de conectar con nuestras pasiones. ¿Esa emoción que sentimos cuando pintamos, escribimos o resolvemos un problema de código? Eso es conexión pura. Es fluir. Es sentir que estamos exactamente donde debemos estar. Pero mientras no encontramos esa conexión con lo que hacemos, podemos llegar a sentirnos perdidos. Es necesario buscar hacia adentro y encontrarnos en aquellas cosas que amamos hacer.
Cuando logramos que nuestro talento y nuestro propĂłsito se encuentren, dejamos de "trabajar" para comenzar a "crear". Y eso, queridos amigos, cambia todo.
Me siento muy afortunada de pertenecer a esta comunidad, pues cada semana nos proponen temas que nos llevan a reflexiones profundas y a tomar acciĂłn en nuestras vidas <3
