The Consequences of Excessive Drinking: A Friend's Experience

I have never been in a drunken state before because I always drink responsibly, most times I always choose to drink water rather than messing around with alcohol, I drink alcohol but not every time, I always drink occasionally but the crazy experience I had was with one of my male friends, this friend of mine can drink a brewery because he can drink himself to stupor.

This my friend is an instrumentalist, he plays an instrument on occasion and that is what he does for a living, this particular day was on Friday, he came to my house and told me that he would like me to follow him to one of his friends birthday on Sunday and I agreed to follow him.

That night he gave me his phone because I wanted to send some movies from the phone, he gave me the phone and left when he left I realized that he wasn't normal with the way he was behaving so I decided to take the phone to his house after I sent the movies from his phone, his house wasn't far from mine at all, it is just two minutes walk away from my house.

I got to his house that evening, I knocked on his door and there was no response from him, I opened the door and I saw him lying down on the floor, he had vomited all over the room, the room was so messy and smelling, when I called his name he was just saying rubbish and rubbing his mouth and body on his vomit, I was pissed with this attitude and left his house with his phone, I couldn't drop the phone because anyone could have entered the room because the room was opened and the phone can get missing and I will be in trouble because he gave me the phone.

The next day was on Saturday and the guy was supposed to have a show in another town, the phone was with me and I had forgotten because the phone was on silent, the guy was busy looking for the phone and didn't know who he gave the phone to when I woke up I saw more than hundred missed calls, people that his working with are calling him seriously because they had to meet and leave for the function they have when I realized that his phone was with me I quickly brush my teeth and ran to his house to give him the phone after I saw different missed calls on the phone.

I got to his house and I saw him in a confused state, my friend was looking for his phone and he did not remember anything after seeing me, he didn't know he had given me the phone last night, I asked him what he was looking for and he said his phone, I joined his and started scattering his house to look for the phone, I allowed him to pant heavily and after that, I just laughed and hand over his phone to him.

He looked at me and asked me how I got the phone, I asked him to remember what happened last night and what condition he met in his room after he woke up, he burst into laughter and said he was drunk and he messed up big time, it is so crazy the way people use their hands to invite confusion into their lives, I know if the phone eventually got missing he would have to spend a lot of money to get a new one and also lost some important contact that may not be able to retrieve again.

It is always better to know when to stop in other not to pass your limit and misbehave. Drinking in stupor is very bad because it can tarnish people's image.
