Raising Children in a World of Crypto and Forex
Crypto and forex are no longer strange to us these days, we hear them on every platform be it on Twitter,Facebook and also watch short videos of it on YouTube, some people talk about how they made money while others talk about how they lost everything, crypto is not something you can venture into overnight if you do not have well and clear knowledge about it and this brings me to the prompt of the day "Should children be taught about crypto and forex in school?
When I was in school nobody really taught us about money, we were told to study hard, get a good job, and save our salary and that was all, nobody explained how money grows or how people lose money, we only learned these things later in life, mostly through mistakes, I learned more about forex and crypto when i was in school and my friend introduced me to it, I lose all my savings because I do not have good knowledge about crypto and my greediness was one of the things that nearly put me into that situation though It was painful but that was how I learned.
Today, things are different, crypto and forex are now part of everyday life, children growing up now will meet these things whether we like it or not, If schools do not teach them, they will still learn from the internet, friends, or social media and most times, those places do not tell the full story.
Teaching children about crypto and forex does not mean teaching them how to trade every day, It should be about understanding how it works, they should learn that prices go up and down and that nothing is certain, most importantly, they should learn that losing money is possible.
One good thing about teaching this early is that children can grow up with a better mindset about money, they will know that money is not magic, they will understand that profit takes time and patience. This can help them avoid rushing into things just because others are doing it, It can also help them avoid greed, which causes many of us to make bad decisions.
There are also dangers, crypto and forex can be very risky, Prices can change suddenly, If children are not taught well, they may think it is an easy way to get rich, that is why the teaching must be careful and honest, schools should focus more on risks than profits, children should be taught on how to think and not what to buy.
Also age is very important as well, younger children can learn simple things like saving and spending wisely while older students can learn basic ideas about investing and risk, everything should be explained in simple words without pressure.
Personally, I believe teaching crypto and forex in schools can help if it is done the right way, it can raise people who understand money better, people who ask questions before investing, people who know that it is okay to walk away sometimes. This kind of early exposure can quietly shape their future habits, confidence and discipline, helping them face financial choices with clearer thinking and less fear later in future.

Children learning about crypto and venturing into it will lead them to do much distraction.
Not at early stage, at least they should learn about the danger in it and encourage them to invest not for today but in future
When you invest early in a child you will help to shape the financial life of such child. I wished I had known about crypto when I was much younger hmmmmm I would have been better than where I am today. Thanks for sharing
That is why is better to invest in our children to teach them the risk involved and also prepare them for the future because as it is now crypto and forex will soon take over.
