NEWBIES INITIATIVE TASK 10: RECOUNT OF GOALS AND FEEDBACK

I never regret joining the newbie's initiative because it has allowed me to meet new people and gain more knowledge about Hive. I am well enlightened about Hive and I can now onboard people with confidence and no issues at all. It proved to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.

1. check the goals you made and recount those goals, to see how you have performed. Did you smash those goals? Tell us why and how

I remember that our first task was to set up our goals for the next three months. I put together my goals and stated them; I achieved some of them and failed to meet others in certain areas. Among my goals were to make new friends who would contribute to my progress on Hive, also liking and making good comments on other people's posts to foster positive relationships with other Hive users, and boost my Hive power.

One of my goals was to increase my reputation on Hive, and I'm happy to report that I succeeded in doing so. I began with a reputation of 58 and added more before the initiative ended, bringing my reputation to 66, which is something I'm proud of.

My other goal was to grow my hive power, but I haven't been able to achieve the HP I set out for myself. Despite this failure, I know I won't give up, although my HP increased I still didn't reach my target, and I think nothing will stop me from doing so in the first quarter of the year.

2. How was your experience in the newbies initiative, and what do you have to say about it

This initiative has been really helpful to me as it has expanded my knowledge about hive and shown how it works. I was not too knowledgeable about Hive in some areas before, but since I joined the newbies initiative I find everything about Hive to be quite accessible, starting with the basics of using the appropriate tags on my posts, checking my progress on Hive, and understanding how each community operates.

The initiative is amazing, it helped me find my way on Hive. Previously, I just used PeakD as my frontend, but after joining the initiative, I've learned more about different frontends and have started using them.

Another wonderful thing that I found challenging was creating a thread-storm on the Leofinance frontend. However, this initiative made it incredibly easy for us to access, and the tutors who took the time to instruct us were excellent. Overall, I felt this was a brilliant concept on Hive.

I know we met for a reason and I value the friendship we enjoyed because most of us are now excellent friends with whom we communicate both online and offline. This project introduced me to these amazing people, including @wallay @oluwadrey @nwothini335 @aunty-tosin @ginika, @cindynancy, and so on.

3. If you were to contribute one way to make the newbies initiative perform better, what do you think you can do?

As our host made it clear that votes are not guaranteed, but in this case, let votes be guaranteed. We all know that this initiative is for our benefit, please support us by voting on the posts of newbies. We also need your support, you are encouraging us by voting for for us, and this shows that you are rating us. I know that the previous initiative was different, unlike this set, they do receive votes, so I believe that this is an area where I know the initiative can be adjusted, but in other areas, I am okay with it.
