Narrow Escape: How I Escaped a Scorpion Sting Today

Have u ever experienced the pain that comes out of the tiny creature? If yes what was your experience if not I pray you will never experience such pain.

I would have been in a state of dilemma today because I encountered this tiny creature but luckily I was not a victim, this creature called scorpion can bring out the monster in someone, it can make an adult behave like a child, it can disorganize the body system and brings pain to the soul.

Yesterday I was at home because it was my country's independence day so there was a public holiday for everyone, I decided to stay at home and make use of the holiday well, I have so many things to put into order but time doesn't permit me, I was thinking of what to cook for breakfast when I heard a knock on my door, I was skeptical about this visiting because I wasn't expecting anyone, I stood up to opened the door and I saw one of my neighbors telling me that the other neighbors that was pregnant gave birth in the middle of the night, I was happy because it was a great news, I was about putting on my slippers when she told me that the woman was still in the hospital and we should visit her later in the day.

My neighbor who gave birth was not a close friend but we do greet normally, I told the other neighbor that I would prefer to visit her in the hospital when coming back from work which is today, I am someone who does not always like to go out anytime I fix myself, I had already planned to stay indoors for the day, she agreed and said no problem.

This morning I called my neighbor and told her she should call me if she is ready for the visitation, meanwhile I am already at work but I want to excuse myself for an hour just to see her and the newborn baby, my neighbor told me that there will be no need for that because she will be discharged around noon and I can visit her when I am back from work, I think that makes everything easy for me.

As I came back from work I quickly removed my dress and changed into my house wear, I went straight to their apartment to rejoice with them, I was welcomed into their apartment because today was my first time entering the house, I sat on the couch and was giving water, I declined because I wasn't thirsty, it wasn't up to ten minutes I stood up to say bye when something fell from the chair, it was a scorpion, so I had been sitting on a time bomb without noticing, I was shocked when I saw it but I was happy on the other way because it didn't sting me.

Immediately I told them to fumigate the house because of the new baby, what if it was the baby that was lying on the couch, that would have been another story entirely, I am not saying the house is dirty, they are neat but I do not know what to say about the scorpion, I am glad that my story doesn't turn to a sore situation for me.

This was how my day went and I am happy because I didn't have the bad experience of how painful it can be to be stung by a scorpion
