MY CRAZIEST JOURNEY EVER

This is a day I will never forget in my life, though the journey was fun at the beginning but later became the worst.

I traveled to write post jamb in another state and there I met an old friend of mine, he was from my secondary school and he was my mate, I was so happy to see him and we hugged each other.

After the exam, we sat in one garden and planned on how to move back to our state, I suggested we move the next day but he brought up the idea of using a night bus and he said it would be fun, I agreed with him and we planned on how to move that night.

We met at the park at exactly 9 pm and we bought our tickets, then we waited till the bus was full, we moved at exactly 11 pm and the driver said we would arrive very early, it was fun from the beginning until we met the worst experience.

We reached one particular place and the road was blocked, all our thought was that they had already closed down the road and we needed to follow another route, the driver was asking his colleagues that was making a turn and they said there was a robbery at the front that we need to turn back before our driver could turn we started to hear the sound of a gunshot.

I grabbed my friend and I started crying, he was there consoling me and the driver said we should run for our life, the driver came out quickly before the armed robbers could reach our side then opened the door and said we should run for our lives, we were about peeing on myself because that was my first time of experiencing such thing.

I have the intention of experiencing the fun of a night journey because my brother does talk about the night journey and it is always fun, so when my friend brought up the idea I could not argue with him but my joy turned into something I could not explain.

We ran into the bush, but my friend never let go of me, he held my hand and we started running, we could not look back until we reached a safe place, all of us were panting and were afraid, it was one of the craziest journeys, after the whole incident and we found ourselves again, we decided to wait for sometimes before we continue the journey.

When we were about to continue the journey one passenger was just crying a grown-up man and started accusing the driver for no reason, he said the driver was also a thief and that they all planned it together because the driver refused to pass the route that other drivers were passing, he wanted to cut corners and make the journey faster.

This took time before other passengers could resolve the issue, everyone was just pissed with their attitude and that was when I told myself never to try night journeys in my life, it was a bad experience for me.
