I HAD A SOLID REASON FOR DOING IT.

When it comes to compassion, I guess I am one of the compassionate ones, I love to help others with the little I have and also look out for my friends, this is one of the greatest mistakes I made but I never regret doing this in any way because It pays at the end of it.

Last two years one of my brothers, has been admitted into a university in abroad for his master's degree, we were happy when he broke the news to us because we believed that his matter was settled if he should travel to that country, but there was no money to process his visa and other necessary things.

I walked up to my elder brother and told him about it, he only said to us that God will provide, how will God provide when we are doing nothing about it, it is just like having faith without works, we all believe that our elder brother is very stingy and he can never bring out money to help his siblings all he knows was his family and nothing more.

I know he will never do anything about it because we all know the kind of person he is, my brother brings out his savings but the money does not go far, everyone gathered what they had but this my elder brother didn't support us.

One fateful day I went to his house and told my other siblings about it though, but I never told my mother about the plan because I knew if I should tell her she would not support what I wanted to do.

What did I do

My brother trusted me so much that he always sent me to the bank to withdraw money for him so I knew his password and also knew where he kept his ATM cards, I went to his house that afternoon and met his wife at home, I greeted the wife and explained everything that was going on in the family to her, I told her about my plans and she supported it, she knows that my brother that got admission to be a very nice guy and also calm as well.

I told her I wanted my elder brother's ATM card and that I needed to withdraw some amount of money from there and send it to my brother just to complete his processing, I knew it would not be easy but at the same time he would not kill me because I am the last child of the house, well I know he will lose trust in me and most of my siblings will do as well but I need to achieve my goals and see that my brother does not lose his admission just because of money which my brother has but very stingy to give it out. I transferred some money from his account and sent it to that my brother who is traveling out of the country,

How did it end

It was a sour experience, my elder brother drove to our house that evening because his wife told him I had come home so he already knew that I did that, when he came I was on my knees begging and he landed me a hot slap but there was nothing I could do because I truly deserve the slap, my mother gave me another slap when my brother explained everything to her but I know I did it for my sibling that I love most, he is my best friend out of all my siblings, we love each other so well and we do talk as if we are age mate.

I received slaps that day and my mother was so disappointed in me not knowing that my mother had already requested from loan a cooperative bank, she later explained everything to me and since that day my elder brother has lost trust in me and also asked me to refund his money if I do not want problem for myself, my mother returned the money to him and my brother traveled out of the country, I achieved my aim but it was not an easy one.

Stealing is not part of my character and stealing to achieve my aim is very bad but we all know that my brother has that money but he doesn't joke with his money and this is so bad because someone needs that money to help his life.

I never regretted being slapped by him since I achieved my aim and losing trust in me doesn't give him a ticket to heaven.
