The Smartphone: A Life-Changing Device

Smartphones are life changing devices. We all know that before the 21st century, smartphones were still in existence. I have been privileged to listen to my grandparents narrate stories on how life used to be then without smartphones. How you will have a sick person in the hospital die because of trying to send an information across to a family member for help and it will take up to six months before the letter will be delivered and then the person will also try to reply to you. Hmmm life was difficult then especially in this part of the world Africa, where we weren't aware of anything technology, just our agriculture life and cultures were what we understood.

The invention of smartphone has really been one of the most transformative invention ever, it has really helped in
revolutionizing the way we communicate to each other, work, and explore the world around us. Smartphones are built in such a way that they carry a lot of impactful features that have made a profound impact on our lives. Looking at what live use to be like then, and now we will all agreed that invention of smartphone has transformed the way we communicate, we can now make phone calls, send text messages to people far and near us and access a wider range of communication apps, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook and Signal, smartphones improved staying connected more easier and more convenient than what it used to be. Now we can keep in touch with our love ones in and outside the state with ease, you don't need to write a letter and take it to the post office that will take up to weeks, some months depending on the destination for you to teach out to them, now in just a second and at your convenience that is possible.

Coming to the academic world as a student, I Know how my smartphone has been a blessing to me, with good access to the internet you can get every answers to questions, you can learn new skills through offering a course online, you can as well stay updated with latest informations across the globe through the news app and other social media handles. This feature has really empowered individuals to own abs and control their information, learn and grow.

Now with the use of smartphone I have jobs, for example now I'm using my smartphone to type this article if which at the earn I will earn reward, it has provided a work space for me, I don't need to work in a physical office when I have one already as my smartphone. Lastly, the invention of the smartphone has really made entertainment more interesting than ever. It was even more accessible online before that only a few rich people could afford a device that can give entertainment.

If there is this one device that has some cause great impact on the society is the invention of smartphone
