My Favorite Season: The Joy of Dry Weather

Dry seasons will always be my favorite season, here in Nigeria we do have dry seasons despite the torrential rains. Yeah we are known for rich agricultural products but we do have dry and rainy seasons to balance productivity.

There's something really, really special about the dry season that gets me excited. When there is absence of rain it's means that outdoor activities can be enjoyed without interruption, everyone like to have fun without being interrupted, and there are so many things we can't just do indoors.for example here in Nigeria we are known for always having occasions, there must be something to celebrate, thereby having a big party, if it happens in the dry season No need to worry about sudden downpours or muddy streets. Sometimes when we fix occasions during the rainy season it's used to be a risky decision to take, some of us have to pray to God to stop the rain in order to make that day a blissful one for everyone.
The dry air also makes it perfect for spending time outside, whether it's a picnic in the park, a hike, or simply taking a stroll around the neighborhood

Here are few things that make the dry seasons my favorite

Clear Skies: The dry season brings with it crystal-clear skies, perfect for gazing at the stars or enjoying a sunny day, one can take a perfect and beautiful picture but not during the rainy day.

Outdoor Adventures: Whether it's a road trip, a bike ride, I'm one person who is so much in love with cycling, I now use it most of the time to school and it's fun doing that when the weather is dry or a game of soccer, the dry weather makes it all possible.

Conclusion
While so many people prefer the coziness of the rainy season because they will sleep and enjoy the cold weather, for me, the dry season is the clear winner. The freedom to enjoy the outdoors without worry, the comfort of dry air, one can wash clothes and they will get dry in no time , and the beauty of clear skies make it perfect for pictures and creation of memories. So, let's embrace the dry season and make the most of it!
