Making A Cartoon Hat, Unleashing Creativity

It is entertaining and fulfilling to build my own unique fashion items. Besides, one of the ways that can be an indication of my individuality and creativity is by creating a hat out of such average items as a scrap paper, a piece of cloth, or a cardboard. It is affordable and at the same time enables me to design my accessory individually.
This DIY project is not only cheap, but it also enables me to incorporate my characteristics in it. Here are the instructions on how to make a hat out of a cartoon box with the holographic monster design that I received and attract everyone’s attention.

Before I began this project I collected my materials. Well, to make a cartoon box that I could put on my head, a cartoon box that was virtually a head itself, I needed the following; Cartoon box- material that could be molded round my head conveniently, Scissors, Tape, A cartoon design created on paper, appropriately colored markers or paint, Glue. Of course, the box of the cartoon in sense underlined the idea, it served as the base for the hat’s structure. To form the box, I insisted on getting a material that was strong enough to maintain the strength of the box despite the thinness of the material but was also easy to cut and shape.

Initially, I folded the cartoon box as it would be in an opened-can form and removed the upper lips of the box which was to serve as the background of the hat. Then, I trimmed the unnecessary cartoon to the required width to form the brim as desired as stated by O’Neal. The brim of the hat could be ranging from a particular breadth to as slim as I would wish depending on the type of hat I intended to make.

Closely, it was the turn of a hat to look more lively and less monotonous it was time for some embroidery. I then proceeded to use the holographic wrapping paper to also cover the whole exterior of the cardboard box, the glue was used to stick the paper to the box. Due to the holographic finish my hat seemed to look rather dazzling, The holographic finish added glow to my hat.I also want to add more accessories to a hat; therefore, I cut more forms of complementary holographic paper and pasted them onto the hat; these shapes included stars, moons and a funny looking monster face. The last element I added was a hat; I tried to think non-conventionally and sought to make it unique.

After the glue had settled, my hat was completely covered in the associated objects and I adjusted the hat to ensure that it would fit well on my head. It was slightly larger than the intended size, I had to put in some stuffing inside the hat so that it would fit well on the head. The intended aim was to have a hat which not only was fashionable but also comfortable to worn for long durations.

Holographic monster design illuminated beautifully and I looked quite fab wearing it A touch of the fantastical was added to my outfit. Whether I was clad in costume for a party, going to a concert or just partying with friends my DIY hat simply made me stand out.

Fashion accessories that I design myself are fulfilling and enable me to express or individuality and inventiveness. Creating a hat from a cardboard box and a holographic monster was entertaining and turned out to be an economical activity that I liked. This activity of unleashing the monster in me and creating a hat of my own was great fun that helped in bringing out the persona in myself. I don’t know about you, but I believe that with a pinch of creativity and some simple items, I was able to produce an eye-catching accessory that would express much more than just good taste. Making this hat however was very helpful in the sense that I was allowed to unleash my creativity.
