Civilized justice should work in all situations!
What are the facts that the burned is really a criminal?
Perhaps anger should be directed at the official responsible for justice?

This might be true, since the whole incident happened at night

This might be true

оr maybe not🤷‍♂️ Sometimes I have legitimate business at night and I wouldn't want to be in his place.

This is what distinguishes justice from lynching: a lawyer can find evidence of innocence.
In this case, which facts no longer matter to the victim and relatives...
Sad! This should not happen in the modern civilized world, like a lot of other things!

This is so disheartening. An alternative justice should have been carried out instead of jungle justice

We can say that this was just a display of anger from the residents

That is why justice is administered by specially trained people who are able to keep their anger in check and make cold-blooded, informed decisions regarding the facts at hand. And not "someone thought something happened, shouted, the crowd was just a display of anger, and in the morning all those burned were declared а criminals...
