Changes Makes Consistency Hard

When I was younger, my biggest dream was to become a nurse because one member painted a picture to me of how the nursing profession is very good and how lucrative it can be even outside the state. My auntie talked about this nursing profession and its understanding makes me fall in love with the idea of becoming a nurse, but the older I get, I realize I don't even have a passion for becoming a nurse, I can't even care got a sick person around me that much not to talk of f a total stranger. So, as time went on I was still forced to study nursing in the university. I took a particular course in preparation for that but along the way my performance was low and I was at home for 6 months thinking and getting to know myself and what I really want. During my stay at home I came to know about crypto and I went in and I realized I have more for crypto and technology than any course in the medical field. And I ended up changing my mind to study computer science.

As humans we are usually adaptable and often change our minds easily. Here in my country, universities are fond of changing the courses that students apply for. For instance, a student who applied for medicine might end up receiving an admission letter for biology due to either their performance or bias in the institution. Instead of encouraging the students to keep trying so he/she can get the particular course they desire for , they will offer you an alternative different from what you wanted. And due to our human nature, some people give up so easily on their dreams of becoming a doctor and opt for biology instead, there are about 70% of student studying what they don't even like nor have passion for, the school promises them that they will grow to love the course as they study which may never happened but just because people tend to adapt to the situation. This type of situation also occurs frequently in finance. As humans, we tend to quickly change our minds because circumstances sometimes force us to do so, and we may not have much of a choice. Sometimes we opt for an alternative thing because our finances aren't enough to get what we actually wanted.

Changing our minds makes consistency hard

If we will truthfully tell ourselves, we will discover that the goals we set 20 years ago are totally differ from those we set now. This is simply because the reality around our lives now doesn't warrant that lifestyle. You might have planned on saving twenty $20,000 yearly and maybe you were keeping to that goal, but immediately you lose your job or an unexpected emergency event happens you will be forced without an option to follow the reality of things by changing some of these plans. And sometimes, we just change simply because we are human beings, and we tend to change over and over again the older we get and this is why consistency is tough. Throughout our lifetime we will change our behavior and character to some extent and also change many times. Consistency is very hard because we humans tend to change with time and this becomes a challenge. If we promise ourselves to stay focused, we tend to struggle with it. However, the power of consistency lies in doing one thing every day and learning from it. By remaining focused and steadily building on our efforts, both in terms of time and money, we can achieve tremendous results through compounding.

you said it well my friend, and that is also the reason why someone could be seen consistent and some other is not, as things changes so differently from one another which then influence so greatly different fome one person to another.

completely agree with you, Our experiences and perspectives shape our consistency and growth, and it's fascinating how differently things can impact each of us.
