Your point of view is very accurate. In my country it is also quite common to inflate prices so that the customer will bargain and lower the product to the price that the merchant originally wanted. It is a strategy that works, but it is not valid in the long term because it makes you lose customers, since this type of business does not usually give much confidence. There are many other strategies with transparent prices that are twice as effective.

Yeah, I think it's something everyone does. But when the price is too high it becomes something else.
