Hello to the entire community. Last year, while walking along the Malecón in Havana, I came across this magnificent sculpture named "Equilibrio" by Cuban artists Osmani Betancourt, Lolo (Cuba), and David Griesmyer (United States) as part of the XV Havana Biennial.

The work was exhibited for the first time in 2025. I was very impressed by the sculpture from the first time I saw it. It is a very creative representation of what we think and desire. The large head represents our brain, and the girl on the ladder symbolizes the imaginative part of our mind, the one that wants to rise and fly.

What stands out the most is that it is in a public space; everyone can see it, interact with it, and take selfies.

Another important aspect is the artistic relationship between the United States and Cuba, showing that despite political differences, art can be a bridge to unite us.

Hola a toda la comunidad. El año pasado mientras paseaba por el malecón de La Habana, me encontré con esta magnífica escultura cuyo nombre es Equilibrio de los artistas cubano Osmani Betancourt, Lolo (Cuba) y David Griesmyer (Estados Unidos) como parte de la XV Bienal de La Habana.

La obra se exhibió por primera vez en 2025. A mí me impresionó mucho la escultura desde la primera vez que la vi. Es una representación muy creativa entre los que pensamos y queremos. La gran cabeza es nuestro cerebro y la chica sobre la escalera es la parte imaginativa de nuestra mente, la que quiere alzarse y volar.

Lo más llamativo de todo es que está en un espacio público, todos pueden verla, interactuar y tomarse selfies.

Otro aspecto importante es la relación artística entre Estados Unidos y Cuba, mostrando que a pesar de las diferencias política, el arte puede ser un puente para unirnos.
