Include Natural Herbal Teas In Your Routine.

About four years ago, my health declined drastically and I was struggling with a few health issues. Drugs were not working, instead my issues were getting worse. During this period I thought that I might lose my job because being physically fit was a requirement to do my job. Not to lose my job I began to push my body and I kept taking drugs to help with the pain and discomfort while masking the real problem thinking everything will be sorted out.

I am not a drug person, but I didn't have a choice when drugs were prescribed to me. I had to take it or my health issues would get worse and probably disturb my life routines. So last year, I had reached my breaking point of swallowing drugs everyday and so I decided to explore natural herbs. That is what our fore-fathers used and they were much stronger than we are now.

I attended an online class on herbalism and I tell you now that it is the best decision I have made. During those online classes, I learnt a lot about natural herbs and medicine to boost one's immunity. I know these days we rely so much on technology and modern medicine but I will be honest with you, go back to the stone age and you get to add more years to your life span.

How often do you include natural herbal teas in your diet and daily routines? Or do you always look for soda drinks, ice-cream, or malted drinks to take? Well, I want to assure that herbal teas should be your best friend from today on and leave the sodas alone.

Every day, when I get back from work, I make sure to end my day with a herb tea or herbal infused drinks. Depending on my mood or how my day went, I would chose the kind of tea to drink before bed. Most of the time, I take hibiscus, oregano, mint, nettle, Chamomile, lavender or jasmine. Sometimes I mix two or three together herbs and sometimes I just take one only.

Today, I decided to go with hibiscus tea today. Its been a while I took it alone, most of the time I mix it with other herbs mentioned above. So here is the crushed hibiscus flower buds. I roughly crushed them so they can absorb water easily and faster. Hibiscus is the easiest herbal tea to make and you require only three things to make it.

You will need your dry hibiscus flower buds like 2 to 3 buds depending on the quantity you want to drink but make sure to rinse them with water to remove dust particles and dirts. Then your hot boiled water and then you add both together in your tea pot let it sit for 6-10 mins. Then you take the flower buds out and your hibiscus tea is ready. Here is my tea. I made a cup of hibiscus tea because I was already filled up with my dinner.

I enjoyed my hibiscus tea as I read a book written by Dan Brown. It is a popular book and from the first page of the book, I was hooked. Soon when I finish the book I will be posting a review about it.

Taking hibiscus tea once or twice in a week can help reduce inflammation in your body, reduce your blood pressure, give you antioxidants, help with menstrual discomfort, good skin and healthy hair growth. These are not the only benefits but their other more benefits if you do your research but these are some of the benefits I have noticed with my body.

I hope my post encourages you to start including herbal teas into your diet and daily routine. Now, I dont take drugs anymore, I feel strong, light, and more agile. My health has gotten better ever since.

Hibiscus is my favourite tea. With the addition of orange juice, mint and ice, it becomes a real summer refreshment hit. Have you tried white hibiscus? It's a little more delicate and less acidic than ordinary hibiscus.

It is also becoming my favourite tea too haha. Ah, the addition of orange juice, mint with ice, I should try that. I have only tried it with pineapple, ginger and cloves before. Yes I tried white hibiscus once before. Till now, I am yet to find it in the farmers market where I buy my herbs from, its scarce in my country and a little bit expensive.

less acidic than ordinary hibiscus.

Which will be better for the body's PH. I hope to get it soon. I appreciate your visit and comment. Thank you for the support.

I'm glad you're getting better in your health. I didn't know you could take hibiscus as tea apart from the usual zobo. I should definitely get more herb tea inclined. I heard it goes a long way to cleanse toxins in your body.
