¡Hola Chicos!
Julio y Agosto fueron unos meses súper movidos para nosotros, nos salió mucho trabajo y esto fue una gran alegría pues como les vengo comentando desde hace varios post, en agosto fue la mudanza de local y ese dinero que iba entrando estaría destinado a los gastos que se avecinaban.
El día después de la fiesta de día del niño, de la cual les hablé hace días, recibí un mensaje en la mañana que me despertó.
Se trataba de una señora que días atrás me había escrito para preguntar los precios de las sesiones de arte. El mensaje comenzaba "¿Tendrás libre el día de hoy por la tarde?" 😦.
Al comentarle que no tenía planeado nada ella me comentó que le gustaría hacer con sus sobrinos algo especial para celebrar el día del niño. Yo quedé loca, pues era algo de ya para ya, pero como les comentaba, necesitaba el dinero así que acepté, a pesar de saber todo lo que representaba.
Estábamos hablando a las 10 de la mañana y ella quería hacer la reunión a las 4 de la tarde. En ese momento comencé a brincar y saltar en la casa. Por suerte ya tenía la mayoría de los materiales listos, solo me tocaba arreglar unas cosas antes de salir.

July and August were super busy months for us. We had a lot of work, and this was a great joy because, as I've been telling you for several posts, we had to move our premises in August, and the money coming in would be used for upcoming expenses.
The day after the Children's Day party, which I told you about a few days ago, I received a message in the morning that woke me up.
It was from a woman who had written me a few days earlier to ask about the prices for art sessions. The message began, "Are you free this afternoon?" 😦.
When I told her I hadn't planned anything, she told me she'd like to do something special with her nephews to celebrate Children's Day. I was shocked, since it was something that was a no-brainer, but as I mentioned, I needed the money, so I accepted, despite knowing everything it meant.
We were talking at 10 a.m., and she wanted to hold the meeting at 4 p.m. At that point, I started jumping around the house. Luckily, I already had most of the materials ready; I just had to clean up a few things before leaving.
El sitio quedaba cerca de la avenida principal de la ciudad de Cabimas para nuestra suerte, así que tomamos el transporte y una vez que llegamos, caminamos un poco y ya estábamos en la casa donde se haría el taller.
Luckily for us, the site was close to the main avenue of the city of Cabimas, so we took the bus and once we arrived, we walked a bit and were already at the house where the workshop would be held.
Al llegar organizaron la sala con algunas mesas para poder trabajar cómodamente. La mayoría de los participantes iban a ser sobrinos de la señora que me contactó, también estaba su hija y una amiga y su cuñada.
La actividad del día era arte con textura, el cual fue súper popular durante este mes. Todos comenzaron a preparar el material según mis indicaciones. Esta parte es la más divertida y a la vez desastroza jaja.
Upon arrival, they set up the room with some tables so we could work comfortably. Most of the participants were going to be nephews of the woman who contacted me, along with her daughter, a friend, and her sister-in-law.
The day's activity was textured art, which was incredibly popular that month. Everyone started preparing the materials according to my instructions. This part is the most fun and, at the same time, the most disastrous, haha.
Para facilitar las cosas había trazado los bocetos de todos, pues sabía que sería una actividad que demoraría bastante, y el tener que dibujar una base iba a complicar un poco más el proceso.
Comenzaron a trabajar en sus lienzos y acá fue concentración extrema. Todos entendieron perfecto de que trataba la actividad.
To make things easier, I had drawn everyone's sketches, as I knew it would be a time-consuming activity, and having to draw a base would complicate the process a bit more.
They began working on their canvases, and this time it was extremely focused. Everyone understood perfectly what the activity was about.
Mientras ellos se ocupaban de sus obras, escuchaban musica y conversaban, la señora me invitó a visitar su consultorio pues quería hablarme de unas obras que le gustaría hacer para decorar.
El espacio era súper agradable y pude ver un mural del que me había hablado antes y un reloj hermoso con elementos de odontología.
En un próximo post les contaré el final de este día tan inesperado pero que nos ayudó definitivamente a lograr nuestra meta.
While they were working on their artwork, listening to music, and chatting, the woman invited me to visit her office because she wanted to talk to me about some artwork she'd like to decorate.
The space was super nice, and I was able to see a mural she'd told me about earlier and a beautiful clock with dental elements.
In a future post, I'll tell you about the end of this unexpected day, which definitely helped us achieve our goal.

Me encanta cómo siempre narras tu día, lleno de improvisación y creatividad. Es genial ver cómo lograste organizar todo rápidamente y que los participantes pudieran disfrutar de la actividad. Además, transmites muy bien la emoción de trabajar con arte y ver la concentración de todos. Sin duda, fue un día productivo y lleno de aprendizaje.
