¡Hola Chicos!
Hoy les contaré como es un domingo en Lakrearte. Esta es una de las tantas clases que he dictado desde que abrí el turno de los domingos y siempre ha sido una aventura, pues es el único día que trabajo de mañana.
Para poder estar a tiempo en el local debo despertar súper temprano para poder arreglarme, comer y hacer mi acostumbrada caminata a la avenida (son 13 cuadras).

Today I will tell you what a Sunday is like at Lakrearte. This is one of the many classes I have taught since I opened the Sunday shift and it has always been an adventure, as it is the only day I work in the morning.
In order to be on time at the store I have to wake up super early to get ready, eat and make my usual walk to the avenue (it's 13 blocks).
Ese día decidí colocar ambas clases juntas ya que contaba con pocas alumnas en la clase de pintura y quería probar que tal me iba haciendo un solo turno y atendiendo todas de una vez.
Así que salí una hora más tarde de casa, cosa que era un pequeño alivio porque no tuve que despertar a las 7.
That day I decided to put both classes together since I had few students in the painting class and I wanted to test how well I was doing by doing one shift and attending all of them at once.
So I left home an hour later, which was a small relief because I didn't have to wake up at 7.
Esperar transporte es una actividad que puede demorar hasta 40 minutos porque muy pocos carros llegan hasta el centro los domingos. Es por eso que salgo de casa con una hora de anticipación para que me de tiempo de esperar y luego hacer el recorrido hasta el centro que puede demorar bastante dependiendo de la ruta que tome el chofer.
Por suerte ese día me topé con un señor que vive en mi urbanización y que trabaja como transporte. Los viajes con él suelen ser súper rápidos.
Waiting for transportation is an activity that can take up to 40 minutes because very few cars arrive downtown on Sundays. That's why I leave my house an hour in advance so that I have time to wait and then make the trip to the center, which can take a long time depending on the route the driver takes.
Luckily that day I ran into a man who lives in my urbanization and works as a transport. The trips with him are usually super fast.
Ese día recibí dos alumnas nuevas en la clase de pintura. Las acomodé por clases, de un lado de la mesa coloqué a las chicas de crochet, y en el otro las de pintura, para poder mantener el orden y que no se fueran a manchar sin querer los hilos.
That day I received two new students in the painting class. I arranged them by classes, on one side of the table I placed the crochet girls, and on the other the painting girls, so that I could keep order and so that they wouldn't unintentionally stain the threads.
Todo iba súper bien, ellas estuvieron trabajando cómodamente, pero yo la verdad no me sentí tan bien durante la clase, pues no es tan bueno el tratar dos temas por clase.
Hay que estar cambiando el switch del cerebro a cada rato y esto no permite concentrarme del todo para poder abordar los temas a tratar durante el día.
Everything was going very well, they were working comfortably, but I didn't feel so good during the class, because it is not so good to deal with two topics per class.
You have to be changing the brain switch all the time and this does not allow me to concentrate fully to be able to address the issues to be addressed during the day.
Obviamente dar una sola clase es más sencillo, salimos de las responsabilidades de un solo golpe, podría despertar un poco más tarde, pero no es lo mejor.
Es por eso que decidí luego separar las clases y continuar con el horario que establecí desde el inicio.
Las pequeñas de pintura terminaron con éxito sus trabajos.
Obviously teaching a single class is easier, we get out of the responsibilities in one fell swoop, I could wake up a little later, but it's not the best thing to do.
That's why I decided to separate the classes and continue with the schedule I had established from the beginning.
The little girls in painting successfully finished their work.
Y en cuanto a las chicas de crochet, avanzaron bastante en sus trabajos.
Todo el camino que he recorrido hasta ahora me ha dejado enseñanzas y eso lo agradezco mucho.
Pues se trata de ir probando, ir adaptando e ir creando una rutina ideal para mi trabajo.

Me parece excelente que tengas ese espacio y que muchos se interesen en aprender o desarrollar esas habilidades para el arte.
