¡Hola Chicos!
Hoy me encuentro acá escribiendo mientras lucho con una terrible gripe que me está afectando desde hace 4 días, esto a raíz de una reunión que tuvimos en casa del compañero de mi hijo para hacer la maqueta de la que les estuve hablando. Y sé que fue ahí porque salimos 3 enfermos de ese día, así que alguno fue el portador del virus.
No me ha dado tan fuerte como para impedirme comer o hablar pero si me tiene los ánimos por el suelo e incluso impidió que pudiera ir a dar clases hoy como todos los sábados. Así que me obligué a descansar, pero sin dejar a un lado el compromiso que hice conmigo misma de mantener la constancia en mis publicaciones. Así que acá estamos, cumpliéndome.
Hoy les hablaré un poco de lo que fue una clase hace algunos días en las que tuvimos nuevamente a las alumnas de crochet y las de pintura.

Today I'm writing this while battling a terrible flu that's been affecting me for the last four days. This all started at a meeting we had at my son's friend's house to work on the model I've been telling you about. I know it was there because three of us left sick that day, so one of them must have been the carrier.
It hasn't hit me hard enough to stop me from eating or speaking, but it has definitely gotten me down and even prevented me from teaching today, like every Saturday. So I forced myself to rest, but without abandoning the commitment I made to myself to maintain consistency in my posts. So here I am, keeping my promise.
Today I'll tell you a little about a class we had a few days ago where we had the crochet and painting students back again.
Antes de comenzar les quiero contar como he venido restaurando unos carteles que hicimos en el primer taller que dicté dentro del centro artístico, el cual había dejado como resultado unas muy coloridas imágenes pero que carecían de forma.
He venido remarcando los contornos para que vuelvan a tomar sentido y ya por fin pude terminar el primero de 4.
Before we begin, I want to tell you about the restoration work I've been doing on some posters we made in the first workshop I taught at the art center. The original posters were very colorful, but they lacked form.
I've been refining the outlines to give them meaning again, and I've finally finished the first of four.
Con las alumnas de crochet estuvimos trabajando con unos nuevos tapetes, esta vez estaban haciendo el que había hecho su compañera y en un momento me puse a tejer con ellas para motivar a la alumna más pequeña a tejer con mayor velocidad porque ella suele distraerse mucho en el proceso.
Ambas han avanzado muchísimo y eso me tiene súper feliz.
With the crochet students, we were working on some new rugs. This time, they were making the one their classmate had made, and at one point, I joined them to encourage the youngest student to crochet faster because she tends to get distracted easily.
They've both improved so much, and that makes me incredibly happy.
Por otro lado con las alumnas de pintura estuvimos trabajando una actividad grupal, algo que les representó un reto pero que al mismo tiempo disfrutaron mucho en realizar.
On the other hand, with the painting students we were working on a group activity, something that represented a challenge for them but that at the same time they enjoyed doing a lot.
La parte más divertida era el momento de revelar los resultados y todas se rieron mucho al ver lo "horrible" que habían quedado.
Fue un momento de mucha diversión para ellas y para mi porque sé que disfrutaron mucho todo.
The funniest part was revealing the results, and they all laughed a lot when they saw how "horrible" they looked.
It was a really fun moment for them and for me because I know they enjoyed it so much.
Ese día al salir de dar clases me fui hasta la parada de transporte como siempre, y me encontré con la esposa del señor con el que suelo venirme algunas veces.
Ella me dijo que lo esperáramos y en el proceso nos pusimos a conversar para pasar el rato. Al cabo de unos minutos el señor llegó y cuando íbamos de camino nos informó a todas las que ibamos en el carro que iba a detenerse un momento en la panadería a comprar unos panes. A esto todas respondimos con que también íbamos a aprovechar y terminamos todos haciendo la fila para comprar jajaja fue bien chistoso ese momento.
Así finalizó una jornada de trabajo más, gracias por siempre acompañarme amigos. ♥
That day, after finishing my classes, I went to the bus stop as usual, and I ran into the wife of the man I sometimes ride with.
She told me to wait for him, and we chatted to pass the time. After a few minutes, he arrived, and as we were on our way, he told everyone in the car that he was going to stop at the bakery to buy some bread. We all replied that we were going to take advantage of the opportunity, and we all ended up in line to buy some, haha. It was a really funny moment.
