Seguimos pintando obras de Frida || We continue painting Frida's works ♥
¡Hola Chicos!
Como les venía contando en los post anteriores, hemos estado trabajando con una obra de Frida Kalho llamada "Viva la vida", la cual fue la última que pintó la artista antes de morir.
Todas estas obras que hemos estado realizando desde el mes de septiembre formarán parte de nuestra próxima galería, la cual me tiene súper ansiosa y emocionada. Desde ya nos encontramos con todo el proceso de planificación para que todo se dé bien y algo que me tiene contenta es que por primera vez podré hacerlo a mi ritmo y manera ya que estamos en un espacio propio, lo que me permitirá hacerlo todo más cómodamente.
Esta vez me tocaba trabajarlo con las más pequeñas en el turno de los sábados. así que tocaba irme desde bien temprano para esperar su llegada.

As I've been telling you in previous posts, we've been working on a Frida Kahlo painting called "Viva la Vida," which was the last one the artist painted before she died.
All of these pieces that we've been working on since September will be part of our upcoming gallery, which I'm super excited about. We're already in the planning stages to make sure everything goes smoothly, and something I'm really happy about is that for the first time I'll be able to do it at my own pace and in my own way since we're in our own space, which will allow me to do everything more comfortably.
This time it was my turn to work with the younger children on Saturdays, so I had to leave very early to wait for them to arrive.

I didn't take any photos that day, as I was focused on recording more videos for social media content. That's why I'm sharing this post with you in the form of some artistic GIFs.
Las chicas hicieron sus bocetos y luego se dispusieron a darle color siguiendo las instrucciones que les iba dando. Todas hicieron un trabajo increíble y se tomaron su tiempo para perfeccionar los detalles de sus sandías.
Esta pintura les gustó mucho y a mi también pues los tonos que usamos eran unos bastante alegres. El tema de la clase era decir a quien le gustaba y a quien no esta fruta. Para mi sorpresa algunas dijeron que no les gustaba.
The girls made their sketches and then set about coloring them, following the instructions I gave them. They all did an amazing job and took their time perfecting the details of their watermelons.
They really liked this painting, and I did too, because the colors we used were quite cheerful. The topic of the class was to say who liked this fruit and who didn't. To my surprise, some said they didn't like it.
Y luego de pintar la popular frase en uno de los trozos de sandía, las niñas terminaron con la actividad. Fue un día bien chévere, lleno de las ocurrencias de las pequeñas, que hicieron de todo mientras pintaban. ♥
And after painting the popular phrase on one of the watermelon slices, the girls finished the activity. It was a really fun day, full of the little ones' antics, as they did all sorts of things while they painted. ♥
