Sábado de arte || Art Saturday ♥
¡Hola Chicos!
Los sábados como siempre lo menciono, son los días más retadores de la semana porque es cuando atiendo a las alumnas más pequeñas y además con las más terribles jajaja
Siempre debo mantenerlas ocupadas porque sino se vuelven loquitas. Es por eso que me preparo para mantenerlas ocupadas y mentalmente para tener la energía para dirigir la clase de la mejor manera.
Me desperté bien temprano y salí al local pues debía acomodar ciertas cositas que había dejado desordenadas antes de la clase. Por suerte conseguí transporte rápido y pude llegar con casi una hora de anticipación.

Saturdays, as I always mention, are the most challenging days of the week because that's when I teach my youngest students, and also the most mischievous ones, haha.
I always have to keep them occupied, otherwise they go crazy. That's why I prepare myself to keep them busy and mentally ready so I have the energy to lead the class in the best way possible.
I woke up very early and went to the studio because I had to tidy up a few things I had left messy before class. Luckily, I found a quick ride and was able to arrive almost an hour early.
Luego de barrer, limpiar y acomodar todo llegaron las alumnas y cuando llegó la mayoría y se hizo la hora comenzamos a trabajar.
Con algunas teníamos algunas actividades pendientes, así que fue lo primero que les indiqué y luego pasamos a la otra actividad que era hacer casitas navideñas.
Tengo pensado algo chévere con ellas y espero me quedé súper bien plasmada la idea, ya luego les enseñaré.
After sweeping, cleaning, and tidying everything up, the students arrived. Once most of them had arrived and it was time to start, we began working.
We had some pending assignments with a few of them, so that was the first thing I told them to do. Then we moved on to the next activity, which was making Christmas houses.
I have something cool planned with them, and I hope I can really bring the idea to life. I'll show you later.
Ese día iba a atender una niña que iba a hacer un taller y ella era bastante tímida pero aún así pudo conversar un poco con las niñas. El plan era que ella pintara un lienzo con una de las guerreras de K-pop, una película súper popular entre las niñas.
También fueron algunas de mis alumnas de las clases de entre semana porque no habían podido asistir y estaban recuperando.
That day, a little girl was going to lead a workshop. She was quite shy, but she still managed to chat a bit with the other girls. The plan was for her to paint a canvas featuring one of the K-pop warriors, from a movie that's super popular with girls.
Some of my students from the weekday classes were also there because they hadn't been able to attend and were making up for missed classes.
Finalizamos la obra con la chica del taller y ella se fue contenta con su resultado que es lo más importante.
Con las otras niñas trabajamos las casitas de navidad y lograron hacer unas obras hermosas.
We finished the project with the girl from the workshop, and she left happy with her result, which is the most important thing.
With the other girls, we worked on Christmas houses, and they created some beautiful pieces.
Al final de la clase todo se descontroló un poco, una de las niñas comenzó a correr y luego se les unieron otras y terminaron manchando una de las paredes. Acá me tocó regañarlas, sobre todo a la que provocó la situación pues esto puede darles a entender que está bien hacerlo y luego arruinan todas las paredes que con tanto esfuerzo pintamos.
Es importante mantener estas reglas claras para que todo marche de maravilla en el futuro.
Ya luego ellas se calmaron y fueron tranquilas a casa. No fue una jornada sencilla pero como siempre se logró el objetivo. ♥
At the end of class, things got a little out of hand. One of the girls started running, and then others joined in, and they ended up getting paint on one of the walls. I had to scold them, especially the one who started it, because this could lead them to believe it's okay to do that, and then they ruin all the walls we worked so hard to paint.
It's important to keep these rules clear so that everything runs smoothly in the future.
Afterward, they calmed down and went home peacefully. It wasn't an easy day, but as always, we achieved our goal. ♥
